We are a .NET software and PHP consulting firm providing end-to-end web development services. From hosting and building to ongoing support, we serve clients across a wide range of industries.

Our applications are built with modern technologies including C#, ASP.NET, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, and MySQL. We also integrate and support custom shopping cart solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

What We Do

We deliver rich, web-based applications built on Iron Speed — a rapid application development platform. Wayne Hussey, an Iron Speed MVP, contributed his expertise directly to product improvements alongside other MVPs worldwide.

Although Iron Speed is no longer a functioning company, the rapid application techniques I developed through it now serve as the foundation of my PHP workflow. This approach allows me to build efficient, database-driven websites that are uniquely tailored to each customer.

Our Background

Wayne Hussey holds a degree from Portland State University and brings over 25 years of professional experience in web application development and enterprise systems management.

From 1999 to 2016, Wayne served as Web Application Engineer II at Providence Health Care, where he managed all intranet and internet applications across five states — overseeing security, servers, updates, and upgrades. After 17 years of enterprise-level experience, he founded Simple & Smart Apps to bring that same reliability and expertise directly to clients of all sizes.
